- 1/2 cup rice flour
- 8 cups cooking oil (vegetable, or canola or sunflower oil for deep frying)
- 3 Tbsp. cooking oil (vegetable, or canola or sunflower oil)
- 2 onions (medium, chopped fine)
- 2 tsp. garlic paste
- 2 tsp. ginger paste
- 3 medium tomatoes (ground to a smooth paste in a food processor; do not add water while grinding)
- 2 tsp. coriander powder
- 1 tsp. cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
- 1 tsp. garam masala powder
- salt (to taste)
- 8 Tbsp. yogurt (fresh)
- 1/2 cup water
- coriander leaves (Garnish: fresh, chopped, optional)
