- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 slice butter (for tops)
- 1 pt. strawberries (fresh, hulled and chopped, 10-12 large berries)
- 1 whole lemon
- 1 whole lemon (to taste)
- 1 tsp. sugar (or to taste)
- 2 Tbsp. purple onion (finely minced red/)
- 6 basil leaves (tightly rolled lengthwise and thinly sliced, to taste)
- cracked black pepper (dash of fresh, optional)
- kale leaves (torn fresh)
- 8 breakfast sausage patties (– 12 cooked, I used Johnsonville’s Original)
- 12 slices brie (rind removed)
