- 1/2 tsp. Sichuan peppercorns (you can replace with red pepper flakes, but the flavor won't be quite the same)
- 1 scallion (green, finely sliced)
- 1 vegetable oil (tsbp)
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Shaoxing cooking wine
- 2 tsp. granulated white sugar
- 1 tsp. black vinegar
- 4 Tbsp. water
- 2 tsp. cornstarch

only used half amount of ingredients as only a small cauli used but use whole dried chill according to taste. I only used one and a half... 6 or 3 would have been too much, i love spicy., so its according to your pallette. sauce is nice lacks the artificial colouring which is better for you. nice and peppery. tweek and taste sauce, i got the balance right as used coconut sugar ehich is sweeter.
