This was delicious! I left out the rice and roasted some carrots and broccoli in the oven. Served the beef on top of the veggies! Yum!

I use ground turkey or chicken and chili paste instead of flakes. I wilt in some kale or baby spinach at the end. I top it off with toasted sesame seeds.

So simple and yet so delicious! The whole family loved it! Only adjustment I would make next time though, is perhaps replace the brown sugar with honey and tone down the sweetness a bit and see if it fits our pallet better

oh yes! this will definitely be my go to weekend meal! i used sushi rice (just to get rid of it) but i love the sticky rice with the meal!
