- 1 cup ginger (thinly sliced)

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. honey (or corn syrup)
- 2 Tbsp. chile (Korean fermented, or rooster brand garlic chile or red pepper flakes, adjust according to your tastes)
