- chopped almonds (A handful of blanched, peeled and roughly, optional)
- 1/2 cup curd
- 2 Tbsp. chilli powder
- 2 tsp. aniseed powder
- 1 tsp. ginger powder
- salt (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala
- 4 Tbsp. mustard (or refined oil)
- 3 cloves
- 1 black cardamom (ground)
- 1 pinch asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder
