- 3 Tbsp. dal (yellow split mung)
- 2 Tbsp. dal (Green skinned split mung)
- 2 Tbsp. toor dal (or split yellow pigeon peas)
- 1 Tbsp. ghee
- 1 tsp. mustard seeds
- 2 tsp. garlic (chopped, you can also use paste)
- 2 tsp. ginger (chopped, you can also use paste)
- 2 onions (Medium sized, chopped)
- 1/3 cup frozen peas
- 1/3 cup pigeon peas (Frozen green, optional and mostly available only at Indian grocery stores)
- 1 potato (Medium)
- 1/2 cup cauliflower
- 1 carrot (Medium, diced)
- 1 1/2 tsp. chilli powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. garam masala
- 1 tsp. turmeric (powder)
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. peanuts
- 1/2 mango (with skin, chopped, optional)
