I followed the recipe. It thickened up in the pot the first time but then when I added the maple syrup and the juice it never did thicken again even after hand whisking it for five minutes. If I make this again, I will use my electric mixer and see if that makes a difference. Great flavor! I stuck it in the freezer- I will see how it thickens after that.
