I used 1/4 cup almond flour and 1/4 cup lupin flour to cut a little more carbs. I will make these often. I did use a very hot cast iron skillet with olive oil. Also I let my mixture set so the "flours" could absorb moisture. It was rather wet but would hold it's shape so I did not have to add any more.

Excellent! I kept adding almond flour until I got the right consistency. Served with a Mayo/Dijon/dill dipping sauce.

Amazing! I added a few ingredients to the batter...long hot peppers, garlic, cilantro and scallions. Served it with Unagi (Eel Sauce) because I am lactose intolerant.

followed directions as given, but then i covered them in ground pork rinds for crispier outter crust. they seemed to be in of something, tried lemon juice not quite, then malt vinegar, that was what it needed. try it you'll be pleasantly surprised.
