- 3 onion (minced)
- 1 1/2 inches ginger (minced)
- 20 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 green chilies
- 2 tomatoes (large, chopped or 3 medium)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt (or as needed)
- 4 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 cup water (to add to tomatoes and lastly to chicken)
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 4 cardamon (3 or, lightly crushed)
- 4 cloves garlic (3 or)
- 1/4 inch canela (piece)
- 1 pinch fennel seeds (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. red chilly powder (Kashmiri, 1 1/2 to, adjust according to your taste, if using ordinary red chilly powder, reduce by half)
- 1 Tbsp. coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric
- 3/4 tsp. pepper (powder)
- 2 tsp. Garam Masala
- 1 tsp. coconut oil
- 5 whole red chilies (4-, broken)
- 3/4 tsp. mustard seeds
