- 2 green chilies (or to your spice tolerance,, slit lengthwise)
- 1/4 peanuts
- 1/2 tsp. asafoetida powder
- 1 tsp. mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 3 leaves (curry)
- 3 sprigs cilantro (or coriander leaves)
- 2 tsp. cooking oil (or ghee or butter, I used coconut oil)
- salt (to taste)
- lemon juice (to taste)
