I did these, with my own twist. The center was milk chocolate with the kahlua and espresso. Then I dipped in melted dark chocolate and rolled in toasted coconut. So, so good!! I felt the centers were too soft on their own, which is why I dipped in the dark chocolate and did the coconut. I also added a whole airplane bottle of the kahlua, which might be why...but I did cut the cream in half and did 16oz of milk chocolate to compensate. I made 6 kinds of truffles and these were the ones gone first that everybody wanted more of!

The ganash did not firm up for us....we are so disappointed and now do not know what to do with this beautifully smooth chocolate. Also, we cannot taste the Kahlua at all. Not sure what we did wrong....

Delicious flavour! Only trouble was the consistency - they melt fast. Would recommend dipping in tempered chocolate so you can leave them out for a bit and they don’t melt on your fingers before they make it to your mouth ! Otherwise - very good. I also substituted Nescafé instant coffee for espresso just because that’s all I had. Flavour still came through!
