- 3 whole red chillies (dried)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 2 chopped onions (large)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. ginger garlic paste (or minced ginger and garlic)
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 tsp. chili powder (Kashmiri)
- 1 tsp. coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. Garam Masala
- 1/4 cup cashewnuts (soaked in warm water for 30 minutes, then ground to a paste)
- 700 grams chicken (approximately 3 large chicken breasts, cut into pieces)
- salt (as per taste)
- 1 green bell pepper (de-seeded and cut into cubes)
- 1 large onion (cut into cubes)
- chopped coriander (to garnish, optional)
