- 1/4 cup pecans (coarsely ground)
- 1/4 cup onion (finely diced)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 egg white
- 2 Tbsp. flour (can use chickpea or oat flour)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. curry powder (sweet yellow, I love Penzey’s curry)
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper (freshly)

These are super flavour-full, but they didn't hold as well as I would've liked. I will try them with some ground oats next time, and will perhaps bake them in the oven with some oil sprayed on top

This recipe was great! I also doubled it as I have 7 people to feed, I added one Can black beans and cilantro (what I had in the house) I was taking a risk with the recipe as my step daughters are meat lovers but it was a winner all the kids loved it from 2yr old to 11yr old. Definitely adding this to my weekly dinners. This was also great because I prepared the mixture the day before and was able to form patties and cook for a fast turn around dinner!

Great. Today I am going to bake them. The recipe is veritable. I substituted dill for the parsley and used walnuts as that is what Is in the house
