Easy and delicious. Dredging the patties in flour is a brilliant idea (I added S&P and a dash of garlic powder), resulting in a tender crusty coating which pairs great with the savory sauce. I formed the patties into smallish, thick, hockey puck like discs to differentiate them from a traditional hamburger patty. I also added a minced clove of garlic to the onions as they were cooking and some fresh chopped parsley to the beef. Don’t be afraid of all the butter. It really does give a nice richness to the beef mixture and a silky texture to the sauce. Husband loved this dish. Adding it to my regular rotation of comfort dinners.
