Tried it this Thanksgiving! The rub stuck to meat but not skin, which worked added carrots to onions, and then made the juice into gravy it was super juicy! We used the slow cooker function on the instapot, and it worked great! This is in my recipe book now!

Delicious, easy, flavorful. I used Avocado oil in place of butter to make it Whole30 compliant.

I thought the meat was really tender and juicy. I liked the mix of the spices. It was great although I did not have turmeric. I did leave the skin on while it was cooking but took it off before we were ready to eat. Will make it again.
