Even with a cheaper cut, it still turned out great! Easy and quick. Will definitely make again.

I overcooked it a little by pan searing too long, but it was still pink. I did 2lbs of sirloin (.5” thick). Just need to be generous on the seasoning. It was super easy.

I made this for hubby’s Valentine’s Day dinner. After marinating the steak in my own combination of olive oil & spices (including garlic, onion and a local company’s steak seasoning) I used a regular sauté pan for searing and transferred it to a foil lined broiler pan before putting it in the oven. This turned out tender and flavorful! Since my steak was a bit thinner than what the recipe called for, ours came out a little closer to medium well but it was amazing. I will definitely be making it again!

one of the best methods for making a great steak without a grill. make sure if you are using thinner cuts to check the temperature before 5 minutes each side in the oven portion.

Beautiful! I have never been a fan of steak made anywhere other than over an open flame, but this turned out much better than I expected. Paired with a spinach parmesan sauce and some baked steak fries, this was a huge hit.

Really liked it. Might increase the spices next time, but steak came out really juicy.

The temperature is for rare to medium rare. As ovens cook differently, I found that 35-40 minutes made a great med-med well steak. Also you have to watch for the butter not to burn.

The temperature on this steak is WAY off. Cooked it in oven for over 20 mins and still wasn't done!!
