Description

You don't need a smoker to prepare ribs. Just follow this recipe and you'll end up with deeply flavorful, falling-off-the-bone-tender meat. The marinade is key, so don't rush (or skip) this step; the longer the better, up to overnight, so plan accordingly. This marinade is an easy mix of tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, hot sauce, and Worcestershire. Cooking the ribs in a sealed foil packet is also key to ensuring they are juicy, not dry.

  • 3 tablespoons barbecue sauce

  • 1 pork spareribs

    Directions

    1. In a bowl, mix the tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Add the ribs to a long shallow container. Add the marinade and marinate the ribs for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours and up to overnight.
    2. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
    3. Remove the ribs from the marinade and place on a piece of aluminum foil.
    4. Place another piece of aluminum foil on top, and seal the foil. Place in the oven and roast for 2 hours.
    5. Serve warm.
