  • 800 grams stewing steak (quality, or beef skirt, cut into 5cm pieces)

    I have been making a variety of beef stews over the past 45 years and this is the best beef stew I have ever had. This is a keeper.

    I made this for a familly diner and everyone loved it! The last step (Lemon zest, rosemary and garlic) bring alot of flavor don’t skip it! A success that i’ll re-do for sure! 👌

    Love this stew, I use beef shin, its the best for stews I find also I've previously added a dark ale instead of wine. I think wine is better, but ale is better than water if you don't have wine.
