- 10 cups cold water
- 8 Tbsp. seasoned salt (Lawry's®, divided)
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder (Lawry's®, with Parsley)
- 3 Tbsp. red pepper (McCormick®, Ground, divided)
- 5 lb. chicken wing (pieces)
- 4 cups flour
- canola oil (for frying)
- 1 stick unsalted butter (melted)
- 4 Tbsp. hot sauce
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 3/4 tsp. kosher salt (optional)

Directions
- Mix water, 6 tablespoons of the seasoned salt, garlic powder and 2 tablespoons of the red pepper in large container or 2-gallon resealable plastic bag. Add chicken; cover container or seal bag. Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
- Mix flour and remaining 2 tablespoons seasoned salt and 1 tablespoon red pepper in large bowl until well blended. Remove wings from brine. Discard any remaining brine. Coat wings, a few pieces at a time, with seasoned flour.
- Pour oil into large deep skillet or Dutch oven, filling no more than 1/3 full. Heat to 360°F on medium heat. Add wings in batches to hot oil. Fry 10 to 12 minutes per batch or until golden brown and crispy, turning once. Drain on paper towels.
- Mix butter, hot sauce and honey in a large bowl until well blended. Season with kosher salt to taste, if desired. Add cooked wings; toss to coat.
