Brilliantly! I always find myself adjusting the machine for light crust: taking the loaf out 5 min. early, and buttering the crust — all in hope of getting a bakery-soft loaf. I decided instead to make this recipe exactly as shown, and let it run the full cycle. This is the white bread I was imagining when I asked Santa for the machine this last Christmas. Can’t wait to finish this loaf just so I can make another! (Oh, and the roux to start...really easy, not time-consuming, and I’m sure that’s a big part of the magic Looking forward to experimenting from here!)

Did it both ways: rolled in four and into pan and tradicional oven, and with the other half of the tanghzong I did it all the way in the bread machine. Both were great brioche style breads.

The result was so satisfied. Really a fluffy and soft bread. I love the milk smell of the bread and I've left 3days still so soft and fluffy and also hydration bread.
