Where to begin!? I read the previous comments and took advice on doubling the ingredients. I also added a little sea salt and pepper. There was no flavor, it was watery and was missing something.

Disclaimer - I totally changed it up!
Flavors - would be stronger / better in a slow cooker
Overall - better when turned into a dip or quesadilla filling.
I made shredded chicken in the slow cooker and during the last half hour of cooking I mixed the rest of the ingredients in a small pot on the stove top and added a little half and half. I also used a full brick of cream cheese and doubled the garlic and jalapeño. Even with that I felt the flavor lacking a bit.
Once I shredded the chicken I added it to the cream mixture and used it as quesadilla filling - YUM!
Probably would only make again for a party as a dip.

My husband and I thought the onion overpowered the dish, and I only used about 2/3 of what it called for. We were hoping for more of a jalapeño flavor. We ate it, but will probably not make it again.
