excellent flavor. baked in 2 batches in cast iron so could vary spice/heat level. was concerned about the amount of sugar requested, but it balanced the jalapeños flavor very well. texture was good, a little dry, but i substituted buttermilk so that could be a fats issue. had fresh but small pullette eggs so used 2 vs. 3. subbed about 1/4 with course cornmeal.

I use Cowboy Candy jalapeño, that has a bit more heat . I have used this several times & love the texture using some flour with cornmeal. I deceased the sugar to 3-4 Tbls…. I will continue to use.

Real good. I substitute 1/2 cup of gluten free flower for the regular. Delish!

Moist and delicious. Not too spicy. Went well with our Ham and beans for New Years. Will make again!
