  • 1 1/2 cups red wine (hearty wine such as Shiraz)
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon italian seasoning (dried)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (freshly ground)

    Directions

    1. Mix red wine, balsamic vinegar, oil, Italian seasoning, garlic, salt and pepper together in large, resealable bag. Add chops, seal bag and refrigerate for 2 to 10 hours (chops will be deep purple). Remove chops from marinade and pat off excess marinade with paper towels. Discard remaining marinade.
