- 5 roasted bell peppers (large, I used a mixture of red and green peppers and roasted them over my gas stove)
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup stuffed peppers
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 Tbsp. dried oregano
- 1/2 Tbsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. italian seasoning (mixture.)
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 onion (small, diced)
- 2 Tbsp. green peppers (diced red and, I used the tops of the 5 peppers)

I changed a lot of ingredients. used red peppers carrots shiitake mushrooms celery onion garlic salt pepper roasted pepper and roasted garlic tomato sauce. Ground beef. no rice. cooked beef and Veg. separately then combined with sauce. blanched the red peppers. stuffed them and put grated parmesan and slice of fresh mozzarella on each. along with more sauce. cooked on low in the slow cooker for 5 hours. Absolutely delicious.
