    Beautiful batter... tasted like heaven
    Two cup of sugar is a lot... I would do 1 and 1/2. I followed the directions and it seems dry and too sweet. Would not use this recipe again.

    I made this for my husband who loves lemons. I followed the recipe as instructed but my incing didn't come out right for some reason. Still tastes good.

    The cake was good. I made it for family and without the ginger. I added a buttermilk lemon glaze instead of the frosting for a lighter taste.

    I used to detest lemon, and boring pound cakes when I was young, as Ive gotten older, it has tasted really good.....I even went so far as to make this recipe. Wowsers! I went for seconds and thirds. Good grief, what was wrong with me as a kid, lemon is yummy! I was so impressed with this pound cake, I have shared this recipe because I know it will make the world a sunnier place! I'm pretty sure Doris Day would approve. This is highly recommended as something that will impress. Thank you for refining my tastebuds to a higher level!

    Great recipe! Moist and the glaze was awesome! My family really enjoyed this, it was a Thanksgiving dessert hit!
