It was great! After I browned the hamburger, I added 1/2 a chopped onion and cooked until the onion softened. I have also substituted ground turkey since we have a family member who doesn’t eat red meat. It was just as good.
This recipe is a hit with our entire family.

this recipe for the most part was very good. i think the tips from other reviews were very helpful to make this recipe a success. I would make this recipe again. However, i would be concerned with the recioe on its own without the reviews that gave great tips to enhance.

To me this was ho-hum. Bottom was soggy and top was overdone. Added other ingredients because I like more on my pizza, i.e. mushrooms, onions. Probably won't make again.

Soooo amazing, and EASY! My only
complaint is that it's hard to eat only one serving!

Amazing! I added green pepper and onion to mine 😀. A must try and super easy to make. Great for a lazy cold day!

It was good! I used ground turkey instead of ground beef and just added some garlic, onion, oregano and seasoning salt to the meat.

This was delicious. I added green peppers and onions. Yum!
TIP TO PREVENT A DOUGHY CENTER: Bake as usual. If top becomes too brown, cover with foil and bake at a slightly lower temperature for as long as it takes for the center (and all parts of the bread) to reach 200F.

I'm not usually a fan of hamburger based recipes-but this was 5 star! I added onions and had no difficulty cooking the bottom (as one reviewer said). Next time, I might also add mushrooms, but honestly, it's simplicity was what I really liked. Oh!-and the cheese on top got crispy and so tasty.
