- cracked black pepper
- kosher salt
- 12 carrots (cut on the bias into 1-inch thick slices)
- 3/4 cup lager (Bluepoint Toasted, or your favorite lager)
- 2 Tbsp. grainy mustard
- 2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- parsley (roughly chopped, for garnish, optional)
