Delicious but very rich! Works nicely with all the toffee and a thin layer of milk chocolate. salt is a must, even in the toffee

So easy to make and always a HUGE hit. The entire plate full isngobbled up in no time
Tips: i prefer to use milk chocolate.
Be careful not to over mix shortbread, keeping it very crumbly.
Turn the heat down low as soon as the caramel mixture starts to bubble and stir constantly - minenusually takes about 10 mins.
Definately sprinkle with a little salt, it surprises the taste buds.
