This stew was okay tasting, but I think the base needs a lot more flavouring. I seasoned with soy sauce which was fine, but I think it needs something else to lift it. There was also a lot of cabbage in this (1/2 head!) and I think that was just too much, as it overpowered the whole stew. Also, this recipe could feed an army (6-8 people). I froze some of it but still ate this stew every day for two weeks.
