- 5 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup irish oats (Instant, Steel Cut Oats)
- 5 1/2 Tbsp. active dry yeast
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water (105 to 115 degrees F.)
- 1/4 cup buttermilk (warm, 105 to115 degrees F., I used heavy cream with one Tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar and let it sit until curdled)
- 1/3 cup raw honey
- 3 Tbsp. oil (I'm using coconut oil)
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter (I used coconut oil)
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 25 1/2 bread flour (or unbleached all-purpose)
