It was good but the directions didn't state to drain the meat after cooking and I think I should have because it came out quite greasy. Will update next time.

The family very much approved. Both admitted they were not expecting much from this one but were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Definitely a keeper. I did add more vegetables (a can of tomatoes, an onion, and a bell pepper) and I'd be tempted to add black beans and corn to it as well. This recipe definitely needs vegetables in it. Also, I used ground turkey instead of beef and used chickpea rotini instead of wheat flour for added protein.

it turned out great! The only different thing I did was use my own homemade taco seasoning... I'm getting ready to cook it a second time!
