I used this recipe as a jumping off point for liquid amounts & cooking time. I added beef better than bouillon in the water, sautéed spicy ground pork & then added the onions, carrots & garlic. Stirred that all together with the splint peas & then added a ham hock before pressure cooking. It was super delicious & the whole family enjoyed it.

Very good! I increased the carrots a bit and added some leftover ham from thanksgiving. Made a pan of cornbread to go with it and boom! Had 3 teenagers eating split pea soup and liking it 😀

This is such a quick, easy recipe…and so delicious! I usually fix this whenever I have leftover ham, which makes it even tastier.

It was delicious and easy. I added extra garlic, a ham bone and smoked pork hocks. Will make some more soon.

Very easy and can’t wait to make again! I added a left over ham bone while I cooked it, then puréed it, then added a cup of chopped ham. So delicious!

It was quick and easy to prepare to be sure! I didn't like the texture very much but it tasted great even with regular paprika.

I don’t have an instant pot, I just put it in my slow cooker for the day. I added pork hock into the recipe. Such a great, classic split pea soup recipe. Yummy!

Very easy and delicious. I added Ham flavored Better Than Boullion ( most grocery stores carry it) and eliminated the bacon. I used my immersion blender to make the soup smoothernand less chunky. This was a hit and will definitely do it again.

Loved how quick and easy this was. I did make it with two small modifications- first, I used the sauté setting to lightly sauté the onion/celery/carrot/garlic and bay leaf. I also used 7 cups of chicken broth instead of just water. The soup is flavorful and cooked just perfectly. Will definitely make again!

So creamy! It was my first attempt recipe in my instant pot...i was so happy with the results...I used half water and half ham stock from my Christmas ham!
