Such a great, classic split pea soup recipe. Yummy!

Very easy and delicious. I added Ham flavored Better Than Boullion ( most grocery stores carry it) and eliminated the bacon. I used my immersion blender to make the soup smoothernand less chunky. This was a hit and will definitely do it again.

Loved how quick and easy this was. I did make it with two small modifications- first, I used the sauté setting to lightly sauté the onion/celery/carrot/garlic and bay leaf. I also used 7 cups of chicken broth instead of just water. The soup is flavorful and cooked just perfectly. Will definitely make again!

As someone who abstains from red meat, I used a turkey ham instead. I sauted the meat in the IP & deglazed the pot with chicken broth for extra flavor. I used 4 cups of chicken broth & 3 cups of water. I added some fresh parsley when it was done. I have the IP - Lux model which does not have an temp adjust on the manual setting so I gave it 18 minutes pressurized & a 20 minute natural release. The vegetables turned out a little overdone so next time I will pressurize & release for 15 minutes each. Great recipe!

It was awesome and I didn’t have celery and I didn’t use meat
