This was delicious, I did have to adjust my Insta pot to 55 minutes. This is our go to for refried beans from now on❤️

delicious, but still I'd like to try sautéing in a bit of bacon fat for a hint of smokiness.

Turned out great. Super easy to make and was one of my first times using the instant pot.

I just made a batch today for tacos. These are SOOOOO good! Even my son who professes to hate refried beans ate them! I used my Ninja blender for the mashing. Also, save the extra broth to use when you reheat the beans. One note- this makes a huge batch, so if not feeding a small army it would probably be best to hslf the recipe.

Super easy refried beans. All you need is an instant pot and a decent hand blender.

easy, good suggestion to reserve cooking liquid to get the right consistancy. i prefer veg stock to keep it a vegetarian dish.
