Even though I followed the instructions, this caused the dreaded “Burn” message. I tried to clean the pot and then add extra liquid when I added everything back in, but it didn’t help. It seemed as though the cornmeal was sticking and causing the message, even though I had initially deglazed, and put tomatoes on the top as stated. I also doubled the ingredients, as suggested, for my 8 qt. It’s now 8:00pm and the ingredients are cooking in a stew pot on the stove. It smells great, so hopefully it will be delicious.
