Yummy served w crusty bread and green salad.. Made as given. Next time might try to lower fat and calories by using Italian turkey sausage or just ground turkey w lots of spices added. Could also use low fat cream or evaporated milk and low fat or no fat ricotta.

I used a 32 oz jar of sauce and so reduced the water/broth to 2 cups instead of 3. It turned out very thick and utterly delicious

Have made this recipe 4 times and it’s always a hit. This last time I subbed low sodium marinara, unsalted chicken broth and regular sausage instead of Italian. Everyone knew I had subbed, and still loved the meal. Cut the sodium in half. Still perfect!

Amazing!!!!!! Big hit for dinner! The whole family enjoyed the soup! Very filling and full of flavor!
