- 2 cloves garlic (minced)

- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 box elbow macaroni (cooked al dente, drained and tossed with evoo)
- 1 cup green lentils (soaked for 20 minutes)
- 2 cups basmati rice (White, rinsed thoroughly but not soaked)
- 1 small onion (fried until golden brown)
- 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 tsp. ginger
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 3 cups water (/broth, I use half and half)
