2nd time:
Another hit - though I may have peppered it a bit much. I used this recipe: https://www.yummly.com/recipe/Irish-Beef-Stew-1030154 (though I subbed a can of tomato sauce for the paste, used dried parsley and thyme, and subbed Mom's garden zucchini for the green peas.) From the above recipe, I had pre-cooked wild rice (added at the end) and I threw in a can of cream of mushroom soup as a sub for the fresh.
1st time:
This was a huge hit - super easy. I didn't have barley, so I subbed wild rice. I added onion powder and a lot more garlic salt at the end.

i loved it. tho i made some adjustments. i didnt add onions i put in steak instead of stew beef. i put onion flakes and garlic powder and thyme. no parsley or celery. just colorful carrots. i also used bouillon cubes and 4 cups water.
