Description
Made with olive oil instead of butter, these Individual Nutella Cakes make a great dessert option that is low in calories. The batter for this cake is flavored with rich cocoa powder for a strong chocolatey flavor throughout. Poured into individually sized ramekins, the cake batter is then swirled with a bit of Nutella. This recipe provides instructions for cooking in the microwave. Ready in 11 minutes, this dessert is fast and easy to make.

- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 Tbsp. pastry flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Nutella

Directions
- Beat the egg in a bowl and add the oil.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, and cocoa together in a separate bowl and add the sugar.
- Add the egg mixture to the flour and mix together with a fork.
- Divide the batter between two ramekins and add a tablespoon of Nutella to each. Stir to swirl the Nutella through the batter.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute. Continue to microwave for 10 seconds at a time, checking often to make sure the mixture doesn’t bubble over the ramekin. Repeat for a total of 1 1/2 or 2 minutes, until an inserted toothpick comes out almost perfectly clean.
