- 2 bird chile (green, finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (crushed)

- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper (to taste)

- 1/2 tsp. Garam Masala

- 1 cup chickpea flour (also known as chana flour or gram flour)
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground cumin

- sparkling water (or club soda to mix into a thick batter)

- 6 red chillies (long, mild, preferably Kashmiri chillies)
