Quick and easy to make, with the added bonus that it's kid friendly. Great start before branching out options as the recipe suggests.

I loved this recipe as did my family. Quick, easy and delicious. I baked it in an 8x8 baking dish and put two layers instead of one. Used about twice the amount of cheese and seasoned the meat with garlic powder and Lawry's Seasoning Salt. Tastes great with ketchup and pickles on the side.

This was easy & had all the things my husband loves, ground beef, onions & cheese. Very easy to get together & cooked fast. Very tasty.

I did not like this at all. And I really tried to like it, because it's such an easy dish.

Great I have to double it, because my family never gets enough of it.

I added jalapeños and sriracha plus more cheese than the recipe called for and it really heightened the flavor.

I didn’t have any problems with this recipe as others have stated. I made it exact as called for, just doubled it for my family in a 9x13 pan & added dill relish. I did mix the cheese in the meat mixture before adding bisquick mix. Cooked it a little bit longer by 5 minutes and before it was done added more cheese to the top the last 10-15 minutes. It didn’t last 10 minutes for my family of 4 plus the kids 2 friends. So I’d say it was a hit!

It was good. When I eat it I always garnish it with ketchup and chopped up pickles. I think next time I will try it with some chopped up bacon in it but it is good as it is.

Used cornbread instead of the bisquick!! Family of 6 (one extremely picky eater) and it was a hit!!!

To much bread, too little flavor.

It was bland and mushy. Had to cook longer, however my picky eater son liked it but suggested to add bacon next time (lol he's a big bacon lover). If I make again I will add the cheese after its cooked so cheese dont burn.

Whole family loved this and really easy to make!

The bisquick mix turned out mushy and we even gave it an extra 6 minutes; Any linger and the cheese would have been burnt. We of course added extra seasoning since the recipe was so bland. Next time we will use red lobster biscuit mix since it has amazing seasoning and will not be mushy. It’s sold in Walmart and very cheap.

I did not think that it had much flavour

Awesome! My family loved it. I did add more seasoning to the meat though. (Garlic powder, Onion powder, and pepper.) I also used ground sirloin, skim milk, and low fat cheese to reduce the calories.

I added chopped pickled jalapeño to this and it was amazing!

This turned out great. The entire family loved it. Will be making a repeat appearance.

Didn’t come out the best. I thought you could have used about 1/3 cup more of the bisquick mixture. The cheese on top also cooked much faster than the batter and burnt. Maybe cooking it longer on lower.

Did not like don’t know how to describe the flavor, but it was not good. Do not recommend to others.
