- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup apples (peeled, chopped, i use 1 medium granny smith apple.)
- 1/2 cup raisins (i soak mine in hot water for a few minutes and drain)
- 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. milk (warm, or half and half, more or less to reach desired consistency)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla

This recipe was delicious!!! The perfect breakfast on a cool, Autumn day!!! The bread had kind of crumbly crust, but the center was warm and soft. The icing was the perfect addition, but I'll admit I've got a bit of a sweet tooth. Some may prefer to leave the icing off, thinking it's a bit too much.
