I’m not a huge fan of vinegar but one of my friends moms is Hungarian and made a similar dish for us and it was amazing. I thought this was a good copy of her recipe but it was just too much vinegar. I think part of the trick is to make sure the cucumbers don’t soak too long in the vinegar. Thicker cucumber slices may also help.
