- 500 grams noodles (tapioca, 1 pqckage)
- 1 cup chinese chives (rinsed and cut into 1-inch sections,, saving the tips for garnish, optional)
- 1 cup cilantro (rinsed and chopped)
- 1 small yellow onion (sliced thinly)
- 1/4 cup fried shallots
- black pepper
- 2 cups bean sprouts (rinsed and dried)
- 1 bunch thai basil
