I’ve used this recipe many times and am so glad I found it! Salmon is perfect every time. I forgot to add salt and pepper this time, but it will still have that wonderful crust.

Made this for someone's birthday. Turned out great. Even the kid liked it and wanted another bite!
Used my own dry rub (smoked paprika, hickory smoked salt, crushed coriander seed, Himalayan white salt, raw brown sugar and black peppercorn) to give it a tad more flavor.
Found that searing for longer than two minutes made the flesh too crunchy/burnt.
Family has asked me to make again and share the recipe.

I made this tonight and literally eating it now as I write this. Absolutely delicious, tender, flaky, crispy, juicy! i added some butter after it came out of the oven, spooned it over the fillets then added several squeezes from fresh lemon. Transferred to serving dish and added a lil more lemon. Serving with vermicelli and green beans. Will make this a lot!! So easy!!!

Fantastic! My husband ate two servings. The salmon was moist on the inside and had a lovely crunch crust on the top. I used a cast iron pot to cook it on the stove and in the oven instead of a skillet.

Amazing!!!! Turned out so good I used salt and thyme to season as i like the flavor of the fish so i wanted very light seasoning
