This recipe was amazing and perfectly balanced with a few minor adjustments. I used fresh not packaged cabbage and finely shredded cabbage added some finely shredded carrots and tossed with dressing! A real hit with my family❤️

oh yes. THIS is good. The cabbage is limp after sugan/salt wash.. although I did leave it more than 5 min.. but once the dressing is added etc, just yummy. I didn't/don't have celery salt but shredded fennel into the store-bought 200 gm package. Nice taste w/o the 'celery salt'.
Also we eat Keto so I simply substituted keto 'sugar' for that requirement... everything else just fine.

Good! I added celery seed instead of salt, added a bit more cabbage (red as well) and added slightly more mayo.

Love this coleslaw! Way better than any restaurant one I’ve had. Hubby even loved it and he is super picky about coleslaw. Definitely add the dressing a little at a time so you don’t end up overpowering the cabbage mixture. I never find that I use the entire bowl of dressing I mixed together.
