    This banana bread is one of my favourite things to bake, the recipe is easy and quick! It's also very nice with dark chocolate spread or with some chopped nuts mixed in!

    Well... Even after adding walnuts, dates, and a healthy topping of brown sugar crumble to the top, the cake still tasted primarily of baking powder... Not overly impressed. I think next time I will add less baking powder and maybe an extra large banana to try and get the rise without eggs while attempting to hide that bitter powder flavour a little more. On the up side, it was moist and fluffy, looked excellent.
