- 1 cup whole wheat flour (atta or 120 grams whole wheat flour)
- 1 cup all purpose flour (maida or 125 grams all purpose flour)
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 2 Tbsp. curd (yogurt or dahi)
- 1 Tbsp. oil (or ghee)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt (or add as per taste)
- 1/2 cup water (or add as required)
- 200 grams paneer (cottage cheese)
- 3 Tbsp. coriander leaves (chopped, dhania patta)
- 2 green chilies (chopped, hari mirch)
- 1/4 tsp. chilli powder (lal mirch powder)
- 1/4 tsp. garam masala powder
- 1/4 tsp. ajwain (carom seeds - you can add cumin, jeera in place of ajwain)
- 1/2 tsp. mango powder (amchur powder)
- salt (as required)
- oil (or ghee as required for roasting)
- butter (as required)
- sesame seeds (til as required - optional)
