I made this tonight -- had never made bread before! I wanted to try some in my new cast iron dutch oven. I followed the recipe and it just worked perfectly. The kids could not believe that dad made bread. Mixed this for dinner with a new broccoli soup too! I was a bit intimidated at first -- I don't have a heavy-duty mixer! I ended up kneading the bread in the glass bowl I mixed the ingredients in. I also found out that mixing with one hand in the bowl is easier than trying to mix with both hands. This way you can throw a little flour on the mixing hand or pull off the dough that gets stuck.
