- 6 apples (I used Royal Gala but you can use whatever you like. Since you’re not adding a great deal of sugar, it’s probably best to stick with sweeter apples, as opposed to Granny Smith apples)
- 1 Tbsp. honey (/dollop of, or 2-3 tbsp of brown sugar if you don’t want to use honey)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 3 vanilla essence (capfuls, yes, that’s how I measure things of)
- 1 cup boiling water

Good I used a little butter and cinnamon sticks I didn’t cook it until they were mushy like the pick

Tasty. It is just like the fruit filling in apple pie. My daughter, who doesn't like the crust on pies, will want to have this again. We sprinkled granola on top. 😊
